Searcy County is a county located in the U.S. state of Arkansas. The city of Searcy, Arkansas, some seventy miles away, shares the name despite having never been part of Searcy County. The county is an alcohol prohibition or dry county. ==Geography== According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of , of which is land and (0.4%) is water.
